I am old but relatively fit and fat too in spite of all my exercise. I have been in the British Army, Corps of Royal Engineers served in Germany and Korea.

I love to paint above all. I taught myself to paint when I was made redundant from my job as a Station Engineer in a Navigational Radio Station in Ballydavid, Co Kerry, Ireland. I was lucky with the painting although I started in oils and sold a few. But an American who did a swap with me suggested that I use acrylics and I took off from there. Not that I am famous or rich but people do like my stuff.

I love Classical Music, Irish music and Jazz, all the Beatles and pop of that period, Dylan, and lots more.
